Gypsum stone survey in Iran

Stocks of Gypsum:
Although in most countries of the world there are underground stone mines, in Iran all plasterstone mines are mined superficially and with open mining methods. Gypsum, like most other consumable stones, is extracted by chewing and bursting. Also, if the storage is in the form of a hill or a mountain, and the plaster layers are continuous along the horizon, it is possible to extract the plasterstone by continuous mining machines.
Gypsum deposits exist on all continents of the world. Large deposits of gypsum exist in the continents of the Americas , Asia and Australia. Also in Europe, gypsum ores are mined in a shallow form. In 1964, a stamp was printed in Jamaica depicting the plaster industry. In North America, chalk quarries are shallow, and in the deserts of Utah there are deposits of chalk in the form of powder. In Iran, there are plasterstone deposits in most areas. Iran’s gypsum deposits have different qualities and with different geological conditions.
In recent years it has been produced by processes on sulphur dioxide emitted from high quality synthetic gypsum natural gas exit platforms. This type of artificial gypsum, also called double-sulfur gypsum, can be used as a supplement to mineral gypsum products.
The world’s identified gypsum deposits are estimated at 3.3 billion tons. The amount of gypsum stone reserves is divided by the countries in the table below.
Sources of gossip:
Gypsum is obtained from baking and grinding gypsum. Gypsum is a group of calcium-containing building materials found abundantly in nature. And it exists in almost all places on earth and is in the fifth row in terms of abundance in nature, in Iran is also found in almost all parts of the country, especially in the Central Circuit and around Tehran – Jagrud – Azerbaijan – around Mashhad, etc. The gypsum stone to the formula 2 H2O, Caso4 is of sedimentary rocks and due to its strong compound desire is not found purely. It is most commonly found in combination with carbon or iron oxides. The gypsum found in nature is mostly mixed with lime and clay, and gypsum is either found as aqueous calcium sulfate, which is also called gypsum (raw gypsum), or obtained as anhydrous calcium sulfate (Caso4), which is called indrit. Watery calcium sulfate is found in various forms.Detailed below:
1- Marble plaster stone that has not consumed plastering and is one of the ornamental stones and is very easy to work with and shave due to its softness, and for this reason it is used to make ornamental items such as cigarettes – photo frame and so on. This type of gypsum stone is also more commonly found in the Khorasan province and especially in the region of Mashhad.
2- Ordinary gypsum stone, which is non-crystalline and is the most abundant type of gypsum stone and consumes gypsum, and is the subject of this part of the book.
Pure gypsum stone is colorless – Abacarbon gypsum combined with gray – stone and gypsum combined with red, light yellow, brown or iron oxides, which vary according to the type of iron oxide these colors are.
